Overview of Sewer System Alternatives
In consultation with community
members, the County's consultant
team recommended a preferred
alternative for building a sewer
system in the Irondale/Port
Hadlock area. The recommendation
was based on engineering feasibility,
responsiveness to community
concerns, compliance with regulatory
requirements, preliminary cost
estimates, and environmental
considerations. The County approved
the preferred sewer system alternative
for use in preliminary design
and for developing a financing
strategy.
